After Cookie on the right was abandoned, Rosilee from Rosilee's Daycare Center in Wintergarden, who also works with animal rescue, stepped in to help. She retrieved Cookie from the shelter and ensured that she received proper grooming, medical treatment, and nutritious food. Despite initially suffering from ear infections, Cookie's health improved under Rosilee's care. Now, Cookie lives happily with a new family.
A car struck a deer, resulting in the unfortunate death of the mother. This left behind a fawn, who was found standing beside her deceased parent. The situation prompted someone to contact Josie, a wildlife rehabilitator, who was entrusted with the care of the orphaned baby. Josie diligently nurtured the fawn until she reached maturity, after which she was successfully released back into the wild.
